Maskey welcomes Ulidia traffic-calming site visitPublished: 4 October, 2009
South Belfast Sinn Féin MLA Alex Maskey has welcomed confirmation that Roads Service officials are to hold a site visit with both himself and residents from the Upper Ormeau area to discuss traffic management in the streets running between the Ormeau and Ravenhill Roads.
"The need a reassessment of the traffic management on the busy, and often crowded, streets that run between the Ormeau and Ravenhill Roads had been raised with our Party by residents during a recent canvass carried out in the area. A number of weeks ago I also met with members of the Ulidia Residents Association and this issue ranked highly among the issues raised by them during the meeting.
