Maskey disgusted at South Belfast robbery

South Belfast Sinn Féin MLA Alex Maskey has expressed his disgust at last night's robbery at the Carmel Street home of a woman in her 70's.

The South Belfast MLA said,

"The actions of those who carried out last nights attack are utterly reprehensible. I am absolutely disgusted at this attack. Those who prey upon the most vulnerable sections of our society are launching an attack, not just upon the individual, but upon the community as a whole.

"It is essential that those who carried out this attack are not able to continue their activities. To this end I would urge anyone with any information on those who carried out this attack to come forward to the PSNI".
