South Belfast Sinn Féin MLA Alex Maskey has welcomed the news that a Drainage Improvements Scheme, designed to provide a modern and efficient sewerage system that should prevent any further flooding of properties in the area from Annadale Embankment to further up the Ormeau Rd, is scheduled to commence at the start of November; with all work finished by July 2009.
