Balmoral Sinn Féin representative Vincent Parker has complimented the ongoing work of the Finaghy Crossroads Group and said that tonight's official opening of their new office ensures that the good work will continue in the future.
Mr Parker was speaking in advance of tonight's official opening of the Group's new premises at No. 3 Finaghy Road North, and the official switch on of the areas Christmas lights.

East Belfast Sinn Féin Representative Niall Ó Donnghaile has welcomed a commitment given by the Department of Social Development Minister, Margaret Ritchie, that she is fully committed to securing 20% of the residential development on the former Sirocco Works site for developing Social and Affordable Housing.
This commitment was given in response to a written question submitted by Party colleague Alex Maskey MLA. Read full article

South Belfast Sinn Féin MLA Alex Maskey has said that Sinn Féin will continue to do all it can to support local residents in the Ballynafeigh area in their campaign to oppose proposals to site a new football stadium in Ormeau Park. Alex Maskey made the pledge of continued support after a special meeting of Belfast City Council's Parks and Leisure Committee reaffirmed its support for a report stating that Ormeau Park was the preferred site for a new multi-purpose stadium. South Belfast Sinn Féin MLA Alex Maskey has given a cautious welcome to Environment Minister Sammy Wilson's plans to deal with HMO's but has said that the proposals do not go far enough and do not take into account the fact that many areas are already well above the proposed HMO limits.
He also said that there must be a joined up approach in dealing with the issue as the Department of Social Development currently has the remit of registering HMO's, a remit that is currently not being adequately carried out, having a knock on effect in dealing with the whole issue.
