South Belfast Sinn Féin MLA Alex Maskey has called on the DUP to explain why they are pulling the plug on a Bill (Allowances to members of the Assembly (Repeal) Bill) passing through accelerated passage in the Assembly, which would see the power to dictate MLA's wages and pay increases taken away from MLA's and transferred to an independent oversight body. Sinn Féin representative for Pottinger Niall Ó Donnghaile has expressed his concern at yet another report of dangerously low-flying planes in east Belfast. Mr Ó Donnghaile comments come after a main claims he was injured by roof tiles dislodging as a result of a low flying plane. Read full article
