South Belfast Sinn Féin MLA Alex Maskey has said that he is disappointed that a Roads Service survey carried out to assess the need for traffic-calming measures on St Jude's Parade has concluded that the area does not have the required volume or speed of traffic to justify the installation of traffic-calming measures. South Belfast Sinn Féin MLA Alex Maskey and Balmoral Sinn Féin representative Vincent Parker have welcomed confirmation from the Roads Service that Adelaide Park has been given a high prioritisation in relation to the need for traffic calming measures.
This high prioritisation occurred after Sinn Féin made representations to the Regional Development Minister Conor Murphy MP and the Roads Service. Read full article
