Ó Donnghaile expresses disgust at car hijacking. Following the hijacking of a car and a 19 month old baby at Central Station, Niall Ó Donnghaile has expressed his disgust and contempt at those responsible. "I cant begin to imagine the torment that the mother of this baby experienced last night. It is a particularly sickening incident given that this child was placed in a very grave situation by reckless thugs. This is in no way representative of the people of the Short Strand, indeed those neighbours who realised what had taken place acted immediately to make sure that the baby was safe. I would appeal to anyone who may have any information to pass it immediately to the PSNI and I would urge the PSNI to act swiftly on any information they receive to apprehend those responsible."
