Ó Donnghaile welcomes Mountforde Road improvementPublished: 16 March, 2008
Niall Ó Donnghaile has welcomed the work carried out by the Housing Executive in scaling down large amounts of shrubbery and bushes from the flower beds on Mountforde Road.
"This work has been carried out as a result of Sinn Féin pushing this issue with the Housing Executive; the residents were fed up with needless, un-maintained over-growth outside the front of their homes, not to mention the smell that emanated from the flowerbeds."
"This work goes some way in improving the environmental surroundings for residents living on this part of Mountford Roadbut the ultimate aim is have the flowerbeds totally removed as the residents believe they serve no purpose.
"I welcome the work carried out thus far however I will continue to lobby and engage with the Housing Executive on ultimately resolving this issue." |
