Ó Donnghaile meets Belfast City Council on Short Strand alley-gatingPublished: 13 September, 2008
Sinn Féin East Belfast Representative Niall Ó Donnghaile yesterday met with representatives of Belfast City Council to discuss the need for alley-gating on several streets in the area.
Mr Ó Donnghaile said,
"Yesterdays exchange was useful and I used it as an opportunity to take representatives from the Council to these particular streets and allow them to see first hand why residents want and need these gates put in place.
I am confident that from yesterdays positive meeting the local Martin/Treacy Cumann will put in the necessary work in order to help achieve these gates.
I will be in touch with many stakeholders in the community asking for their direct support for this important initiative."
